Workout Harder and Smarter to Lose Weight Fast

/, Coach's Corner/Workout Harder and Smarter to Lose Weight Fast

If you have been working out consistently and aren’t seeing the results that you want, I think I may know the reason.

For too long we have been told to get into our “fat burning zone” while we work out.  In order to burn fat while we work out we are told to go at least 20-30 minutes as a steady pace.  In other words, do cardio.

But if you are working out 20-60 minutes a day on average and burning all that fat (supposedly) why are you not losing weight or changing your shape like you want to?   Why have you hit a plateau that you can’t seem to come down off of?

Simple…

You release Human Growth Hormone (HGH) and Testosterone – the top two muscle building hormones –  directly proportional to your intensity.

Put another way, how hard you go, not how long you go in  your workout dictates how much lean muscle you will build.   Wow!  That’s a paradigm shift!  So gone are the days of you feeling like you need to run miles (unless you just love it and want to!).  If you are really looking to lean up the fastest way to do it is go harder for a shorter period of time.

Work out less?

Yes!

But ONLY if you plan on going hard.

This is why BURSTClub workouts are so effective.  You go 90-100% of your maximum effort on each short burst (we are talking 20 seconds at a time rather than 20 minutes!).   You can get a free E-Book if you want to understand how it all works.

The result?

Your body produces more Human Growth Hormone (HGH) and Testosterone which aids in building more lean muscle.   The more lean muscle you have, the better your metabolism is so you literally become a fat-burning machine all day long!

If you want more details on how to reprogram your body to burn fat for 24 hours a day, check out this video.   Or for you researchers out there, take a look at the science behind what makes burst training such “smart” exercise.

When you B.U.R.S.T. train, you work harder, but it’s smarter and shorter!
