Busting the Myths on Soy Protein

/, Health/Busting the Myths on Soy Protein

There are many opinions on soy protein that clutter the internet and those opinions leave us reeling with more questions than answers most of the time.  I don’t wish to clutter it more .  What I do want is to give you facts on what clinical research has shown to be true for years and I want to share with you my own personal experience.  I want to help you on your journey for answer to these deep (and serious – well, maybe you aren’t really wondering about “man boobs” but I was!) questions that I have had too.

Will consuming soy protein give you breast cancer?

Does soy protein mess with my thyroid?

Will soy protein give men “man boobs”?

Searching out the answers for yourself is a good thing.   Here are some of my most popular posts that readers like yourself have used to get answers to their soy questions.

    • Hi Amy, soy is not an acidic vegetable from my understanding. There have been no studies linking it to inflammation but actually the opposite. I don’t know if that helps!

  • I recently started using Shaklee products (via a member of your Impact Partners team), including the 180 smoothees, and I love them! I have yet to find any other protein powder that keeps me full for as long as these do. I love all the extra measures Shaklee takes to ensure quality & safety on all of their products.

I had some concerns about soy. Being that I am a details gal, this information is very helpful! Thanks for sharing!

    • That’s awesome marjorie! I’m so glad you’ve seen how different Shaklee is. It’s how the soy is processed that makes a world of difference in the final product!
